It was a feeling that she intended her girls would never endure. Millie refused to allow any man to treat her daughters mean. She knew what it was like to be disrespected by a man just because he felt like it. That was not going to happen to her daughters; she swore she would protect her girls. Her daughters might be grown but she knew what was best for them.

I enjoyed reading about and getting to know the story's characters. What unfolds is unexpected. If you enjoy suspense and romance, you will enjoy this story. And like me you maybe asking why she fell in love with Duncan. Great story!
I throughly enjoyed this book. The author skillfully brings to life drama and suspense in a story about family bonds and values. The matriarch of this family is a strong and loving woman driven by dark passion to protect her family.
I loved all the characters in this book and their individual stories which were woven together to create an unexpected ending to this murder mystery.
This is a great read. You won't be able to put this book down!

An excellent story and very well written. A contemporary story with well developed characters. I felt their joy and pain. Especially enjoyed the characters of Josie and Duncan. And Millie will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is exciting and full of drama. Fast moving and never boring. I was totally entertained. It is a book worth reading.
If you're looking for a page turner, this is it. Pretty soon, you are quite familiar with each of the characters and their roles. You are skipping down one lane and then you realize - No Way! This book had my attention from the first chapter. There's mystery; romance and intrigue. This is the one that you want poolside or curled up on the couch while it rains outside. I think I'm going to read it again!
Great book for getting lost in a story. The author weaves a tantalizing tale around Millie and her four daughters in the Brooklyn, NY of 1972. I especially enjoyed the historical facts dotted throughout the novel. It was an easy read with words rolling off the page and spinning the story through my mind.
That's the reason you should read this book of family honor, family secrets and family revenge.
Twisted Sanity will give you chills and will have you asking questions about your own family tree.
I chose this rating the storyline was well put together. The ending was truly unexpected. I would another book by her.
